The Why…

How many of us came out of puberty and thought, “Oh well, I have got myself figured out now,” and Oops! Something is wrong with my scalp. I went through high school with a routine for my hair and, I never bothered to glean in to why it was so, I just thought I loved to cleanse my scalp anytime I felt like a little itch there, so whether or not I had an itch, I will always take down my hairstyle of the week and wash my hair and put it in a low bun until Saturday when it was time to cleanse my scalp again. That was my go-to cycle, and it worked for me until maybe my 3rd year in the university, when I started exploring other long-lasting hairstyles. I went to the market one day, and my mum said, “Why do you have flakes all over your head? Did you sit where some cassava flakes blew over your head? That came with the heavy dusting off of the ‘flakes’ that almost drove my neck into my chest.

It’s been a long journey down the road, and I am still here navigating the world of Seborrheic Dermatitis. My ordeal with this condition has led me through a path of research, trial and errors, product accumulation, impulsive hair cuts for better manageability, and the list goes on…I have arrived at the reason you’re here: SOOTHEY Scalp & Hair Revitalizing Serum. I want to assure you that here, we are mindful of the education that must go on beyond just using products.

I have poured out my heart into the creation of these products and continue to research the best to care for our compromised scalp(s). I am with you on this journey to finding a cure, and I believe in miracles, so stick around.

With Love,

ARA.
